Protest Against China’s Forced Assimilation Language Law

July 1 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In response to China’s deeply concerning Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress — legislation widely seen as a direct threat to Tibetan cultural identity, language, and religious freedom — TAA will be joining fellow advocates in a peaceful protest.

📅 Date: Tuesday, July 1st
📍 Location: In front of the Chinese Consulate, Calgary
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
This law poses a grave danger to the preservation of Tibetan identity and the fundamental rights of our people. As a community, we believe it is important to make our voices heard and stand in solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet. We encourage all community members who are able to attend and demonstrate our collective resolve.
